Located within the 250 million years old rainforest on Langkawi Island, overlooking the sea, offers the rejuvenating influence of the vast blue ocean. Essence of the rainforest, spices, flowers and pure fresh air blend to create traditional body treatments for your pleasure.
Jamu is the Indonesian name for generic, natural healing treatments used both internally as tonics or externally as beauty and healing treatments. Located among the lush green hills of Ubud overlooking the Oos river valley, the 15-hectare at The Payogan Villa Resort captures the tranquility and the serenity of the region. d'Boutiqque Payogan Ubud Bali is hillside haven, where romance touch paradise.
All our treatments are made fresh daily in our cosmetic kitchen using pure flowers, leaves, spices and herbs.
Flowers, spices, herbs and leaves have been used in Indonesia for generations for their beautifying and healing qualities. Our facial ingredients are prepared fresh daily: Cucumber Tonic, Kemiri Peel, Honey Cleanser and Flower Masks, combine to cleanse, exfoliate, balance and relax. |

Jamu Traditional Body Treatment Packages
These Traditional Body Treatment start with a choice of Traditional or Aromatherapy Massage, followed by a specific treatment, Fragrant Bath and Jamu Tonic beverage.
01. Javanese Lulur ( 2 Hours )
Massage, Lulur Scrub, Yoghurt Treatment, Fragrant Bath, Body Lotion Rub.
The beautifying and fragrant Lulur Treatment Originates in the royal palaces of Central Java, Indonesian, where it is still used to enhance the beauty of the bridge before her wedding. Recommended for youthful and oily skin.
02. Balinese Boreh ( 2 Hours )
Massage, Boreh Mask, Spice Bath.
Boreh is a traditional remedy that has been handed down from generation to generation, and each village in Bali has its own special recipe. Benefit: Warms & penetrates aching muscles, helps combat colds & flu.
03. Coconut Mangir ( 2 Hours )
Massage, Mangir Scrub, Fragrant Bath, Body Lotion Rub.
Our Mangir is made is accordance to a traditional recipe from rice, various spices, freshly grated coconut and flowers. This treatment is both deeply cleansing and hydrating, and leaves the skin soft and glowing.
04. Vanila Mocha Body Scrub ( 2 Hours )
Massage, Coffee Mocha Scrub, Coconut Milk Bath, Body Lation Rub.
A rub down with Vanilla Bean Body Lotion is the perfect end to this deliciously aromatic indulgence. Gentlemen will especially enjoy this brisk body scrub.
05. Warm Tealeaf & Chrysanthenum Scrub ( 2 Hours )
Massage, Warm Tea Leaf & Chrysanthenum Scrub, Green Tea Bath, Body Lotion Rub.
Our treatment starts when our warm Tea Leaf and Chrysanthenum scrub is massaged onto the body to exfoliate and smooth the skin. Then steaming towel and hot stone are placed onto the body to allow the scrub nutrients to be absorbed. Finish off with a fragrant green tea bath and a gentle Cananga body lotion rub.
06. Kemiri Nut Scrub ( 1,5 Hours )
Kemiri Massage, Sirih Bath, Body Lotion Rub.
This ancient beauty treatment originated in the mountain villages of Indonesia and was used as a natural body soap to cleanse the skin.
07. Selendang Body Wrap ( 1,5 Hours )
Stomach Massage, Selendang Body Bind, Fragrant Bath, Body Lotion Rub.
This body wrap treatment is a 40–day ritual for Indonesian women after giving birth. It is believed to help flush out bacteria which gathers in the body after child-birth and re-stores the body. Helps the lymphatic system function, reawakens the body’s organs cleanses and heals.

These refreshing Jamu Treatment are based on the centuries-old beauty ritual of In-donesian, and are designed to cleanse, balance, relax and heal. Each treatment is 1,5 hour.
01. Papaya, Kemiri, Mint Body Wrap ( 1,5 Hours )
After a 50-minures massage using crushed Kemiri Nuts, a fresh preparation of Papaya, Kemiri Mild and Mint leaf lotion is smoothed all over the body and wrapped with banana leaves to aid in the absorption of nutrients. Afterwards, relax in a warm floral bath.
02. Earth & Flowers Body Mask ( 1,5 Hours )
The treatment begins with a 50-minute Kemiri massage scrub and is followed with the application of a Beauty Mask made from a combination of pure white clay freshly cut Roses, Tuber Rose, Jasmine and Frangipani. Fresh honey yoghurt is then applied to nour-ish and hydrate the skin before indulging in a fragrant flower bath.
03. Aloe Lavender Treatment ( 1,5 Hours )
This calming treatment begins with a cool, floral bath to reduce skin inflammation. The skin is then drenched with a special lotion prepared from fresh Aloe Vera Gel and sooth-ing Lavender Essential Oil.

Our beautiful healing stones are sourced from Bali's Ujung River. The warm stone treatment is combined with Traditional Massage and is a relaxing treatment to relieve tension, muscular aches and pains and warm the body.
05. Kerokan Massage - Healing ( 1,5 Hours )
Employing traditional methods and techniques, a small coin-sized seed is used to massage parts of the back and chest to create greater balance in the body functions.
06. Herbal Pack Massage - Warming / Restoring ( 1,5 Hour )
Our herbal packs are made from aromatic herbs, leaves and flowers sourced from around Indonesia. These packs are steamed and then presseed onto the body to relax, relieve sore muscles and penetrate deep warmth. This is a deeply relaxing treatment.
07. Head and Shoulder Massage - Relaxing ( 30 Minutes )
If you don,t have time to enjoy a complete massage treatment, this 1/2 hour treatment will help relieve stress and tension in the neck and shoulders.
Face, Neck & Breast Treatments
Fragrant flowers, herbs and spices have been uses for centuries to promote natural beauty and healing. Our facial ingredients are prepared fresh daily and are designed to inspire healthy, lustrous skin as they balance, cleanse and exfoliate and relax.
01. Tropical Nut ( 1 Hour )
This relaxing facial incorporates pressure-point massage to encourage lymphatic drainage. We use sweet honey cleanser cucumber tonic, scrub and a mask made from a combination of deficate flower petals and pure white clay to purify the skin and draw our toxins.
02. Fresh Fruit Peel ( 1 Hour )
Our Fresh Fruit Peel utilizes the enzymatic properties of fresh fruits to created a glycolic acid peel. This treatment genlty removes the upper layer of dead skin cell, revealing a soft clear complexion underneath. The peel is followed with an application of our exquisite Face Balm, using Neroli essential oil and natural Green Tea Extract to soften and protect the skin.

Body Waxing
For gentle, effective removal of body hair we use the traditional technique of Sugar Waxing. After waxing with specially prepared cane sugar mixture, an Aloe Vera and Lavender lotion is gentle massaged onto the skin to soothe and calm the skin.

After a thorough shampoo, your scalp and hair are massaged with a nourishing cream conditioner. We then your hair in warm towels to allow full penetration of this hydrating treatment, and massage your neck, shoulders and arms. We finish with an application of Frangipani hair tonic. |
